HO Yan Lam is a Doctoral Student and Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Yan completed her Master of Arts in Music Education (MAME) with distinction and dean’s honour list in 2019. She is currently pursuing her EdD in Early Childhood Education at EdUHK. Her dissertation portfolio explores the music pedagogical practices in Hong Kong kindergartens. Yan is interested in music education, music psychology, curriculum and pedagogical practices, and teacher professional development in early childhood. She has given presentations at several conferences in Education. She likes playing cello and listening to music.
