I am a classical pianist and piano teacher.  I have gained substantial experience teaching preschool music.  During 2017-18, I attended training at the British Kodaly Academy UK in Early Years, as well as the Centre for Research in Early Childhood (CREC) at Birmingham City University.

My teaching is diverse and inclusive, and strives to meet the needs of all learners regardless of ability and challenge.

I teach piano to all ages, from four year olds right through to the very elderly.  My qualifications include an LLB and a BA from Victoria University of Wellington (NZ), and a PTTLS Level 4 Qualification in further education teaching from Derby College (UK).  I am a fellow of the Guild of Musicians and Singers.  I am a full member of the European Piano Teachers Association (UK), and a student member of the Independent Society of Musicians (ISM).

At present I am an LLM candidate at the University of Derby specialising in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law.

To seek ways to keep current and continually improve my standard of piano teaching, I am currently enrolled onto the Piano Teachers' Course UK.
