Peter Webster is a Scholar-in-Residence at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, USA, after teaching 40 years in higher education at Northwestern (John Beattie Professor) and Case Western Reserve universities. His published work includes over 80 refereed articles/book chapters on technology, music education practice, research/assessment, and creative thinking which have appeared in journals and handbooks. He is an editorial board member for several journals including the IJME Research and Practice (2012- ) and has published several books with Oxford University Press. He has presented at five ISME conferences since 1995 and is a member of the ISME SIG in technology. He is active in many international organization in music and is an editor for the International Journal of Education and the Arts and the College Music Society Symposium. He served as a section editor and contributor to the International Handbook of Research in Arts Education.
