Dr. Kathryn Ang is an Extraordinary Researcher in the Research Niche Area: Musical Arts in South Africa: Resources and Applications at the North-West University in South Africa. She holds a doctorate in music from the North-West University, a master's degree in piano didactics from the University of Pretoria and a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Edinburgh, as well as performing and teaching licentiates in piano from the Trinity College of Music and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in the United Kingdom. She also has extensive experience as a music educator and pianist.
