Jill Holland is an early childhood music practitioner, who is passionate about the contribution that music, particularly singing, can make in the lives of children, and those who care for them, as singing promotes a sense of belonging and shared joy.  She has extensive experience facilitating music in a variety of early childhood settings, including family sessions in the Macquarie University Music Program for Children, and early learning centres.  She has been a co-researcher with Dr Amanda Niland, in an early childhood music education program that empowered educators to develop their own music programs by sharing their musical cultural identities, and fostered musical attunement with the children.  Jill mentors preservice teachers on professional experience for the University of Sydney and Macquarie University.
