Xin Xie is currently a Ph.D. ABD at Pennsylvania State University. She completed a Bachelor's Arts degree in music education at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and received a Master's degree while studying at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before she studied in the States, Xin taught early childhood music classes, general music at the elementary level, and children singing private lessons in China. Her research interests include early childhood and elementary general music, culturally responsive teaching, intergenerational music education, and teacher education.
