Robert Gillmer is a multifaceted performing artist and vocal stylist with a master’s degree in Performance, specialising in Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM). Currently serving as the CCM and Jazz lecturer at Nelson Mandela University, he also holds the prestigious position of Choir Director for the Nelson Mandela University Choir.
With a rich background in the contemporary music industry, Robert brings a wealth of experience to both his academic and performance endeavours. His expertise extends to vocal pedagogy, music technology, contemporary commercial singing, and the role of music in higher education.
