Graduated in Piano, Chamber Music, Music Theory and Accompaniment at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid (Spain), she continued her training at the Hochschule für Music Franz Liszt (Germany), at the Center International de Musique d'Annecy (France) and at the University of Texas (United States). She also completed the Master's Degree in Management and Promotion of Spanish Music, and the Diploma of Advanced Studies of the Doctorate in Music, at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Alamo has been President of the Society for Musical Education of the Spanish State (SEM-EE), a Spanish subsidiary of the International Society of Musical Education (ISME), and since 2008 she has directed and collaborated in congresses, meetings and seminars in the field of the national and international music education. Throughout her career she has interspersed teaching and organizational work with performance as a soloist and as a member of chamber music groups. During years, she he has been professor at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León, and currently teaches classes at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid. She is also a doctoral student in Education from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and an active member of the Research Commission of Conservatories and Higher Schools of Music (CyESM) of the SEM-EE.
